Up-to-date, relevant, interesting, yet not too difficult. Where does the student of Indonesian find good language reading matter? Right here at Inside Indonesia!

Beginning with edition 54 we have added an Indonesian-language insert to the magazine designed to help readers who already have some grasp of Indonesian - high school or university students perhaps, but also self-learners. The insert carries items from the current edition in authentic Indonesian, always accompanied by a list of the most difficult vocabulary.

The insert is not available on the Web. (Pssst, buy the magazine...). However, to supplement some of the readings in the insert we provide here on this website a few simple interactive activities.

Are you a teacher or lecturer? We invite you to photocopy the insert and distribute it to your students. But please - get your library or resource room to become an institutional subscriber to Inside Indonesia first. We are a non-profit magazine. Without subscriptions, we are dead.
